The Missoula Bruins are members of the NA3HL and play 22 regular season home games plus playoffs at Glacier Ice Rink from September through April. The Bruins are looking for interns to fill vital roles in the front office. Each internship has flexible hours and can be broken into a fall, spring, summer or full season internship opportunity.
The Bruins internship program is designed to help students apply the knowledge and skills they have gained in their college courses to professional settings. It will also allow students the opportunity to:
- Explore a particular career path
- Confirm their choice of major
- Help them decide whether to pursue graduate studies
- Develop professional skills that aren’t easily gained through classroom learning

Graphic Design Internship -Spring/Fall/Full Season
Responsibilities:
Development of print and digital collateral including game program, posters, etc…
Assist in creating graphics for print, social media and website
Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
Creative and self-starter is a must
All other duties assigned by the General Manager
Ticket Sales Internship- Spring/Fall/Full Season
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to existing season ticket holders
Sell theme night ticket packages, group outings in the Glacier Ice Rink
Run the box office at Glacier Ice Rink on game days
Help with incoming phone calls, online ticket orders
Manage will call and provide customer service to groups attending Missoula Bruins games
Maintain and keep accurate record of customer information

Marketing, Media and Sponsorship Internships Spring/Fall/Full Season (IMMEDIATE OPENINGS)
Responsibilities:
Sponsorship Interns:
Generate new sponsorship leads, engage potential sponsors at local events to develop awareness in the Missoula Bruins and attend in meetings with potential sponsors
Administrative duties for team & internal tracking documents
Prospect and sell sponsorships to meet the Bruins budget requirements
Create/Update Bruins’ prospectus including Marketing Promotional Opportunities
Create meaningful sponsorship packages that deliver a strong ROI for sponsors
Create contracts and help with collections when necessary
Manage the Bruins’ sponsorship marketing efforts.
Marketing Interns:
Marketing Interns will help in coordinating in-game promotions
Distribution of giveaway items
Contribute to team’s social media accounts
Assist in development/distribution of team’s marketing materials
Develop market/fan research studies
Execute/Development of Game Presentation
Assist in production of Bruins website content
Help create short-term and long-term social media marketing campaigns

**UPDATE**
Compensation for Sponsorship Sales – Commission-based as follows:
$500-$1,999 Sponsorship sold – 5% Commission
$2,000 + Sponsorship sold – 10% Commission
Team Photography Internship 2019-2020 Season
Responsibilities:
Work alongside Bruins team photographer John Sieber
Take photographs on Bruins game days of game action, fans, on-ice promotions, general game night atmosphere
Upload photos to social media accounts to increase digital presence
Photograph all staff and player head shots for website
Photograph team at community appearances
Must be available for most home game during season
All other duties assigned by the General Manager
Public Relations Internship 2019-2020 Season (IMMEDIATE OPENINGS)
Provide website content including feature stories on players, game previews and game recaps along with press releases regarding roster changes and announcements of corporate partnerships
Establish relationships with local media outlets for continued coverage in print, web and television for the Bruins
Send updates about game action on team social media accounts during games
Must be available for all homes game during 2019-2020 season

Marketing Internship- (Game Nights Only)
Responsibilities:
Marketing Interns will help in coordinating in-game promotions
Distribution of giveaway items
Contribute to team’s social media marketing plan
Execute Game Presentation
