The Junior Bruins struggled against the Wild 6-3 in home game

The Missoula Junior Bruins' defense had a poor night, allowing the Gillette Wild 29 shots throughout the game. The Gillette Wild took the lead late in the second on a goal from Coleman Varty.

Vadim Zubkov delivered for his team with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Austin Dennison had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists). Coleman Varty contributed with 2 goals and Nick Stockert chipped in with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist).

During the first, Peterson opened the scoring for the Wild with a goal at 4:42 with helpers from Smith and Prewett. Stockert put in a goal at 11:58 with a helper from Thompson. Dennison finally put Missoula on the board with a goal at 19:27 with assists from his linemates, Zubkov and Akatnov.

During the second period, Stockert answered for the Wild with a goal at 3:49 with a helper from his teammate Lachance. Varty deposited what turned out to be the game winning goal at 17:47 with assists from Smith and Walters.

In the third, Zubkov answered for Missoula with a goal at 3:31 with helpers from his linemates, Dennison and Akatnov. Jaffe quickly followed with a goal at 4:19 with assists from his linemates, Miller and Dennison. Varty answered for Gillette with a goal at 11:37 with helpers from Conti and Thompson. Thompson netted a goal at 18:01 with assists from Scoggins and Stockert.
