The Junior Bruins struggled against the Quake 7-2 in home game

Duncan Wiest came up big, stopping 26 of 32 shots throughout the game. The Yellowstone Quake took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Kobe Kitagawa and never looked back.

Cole Stewart delivered for his team with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) and Ian Doner had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist).

During the first, Cook opened the scoring for the Junior Bruins with a goal at 5:18 with a helper from his teammate Cottle. Doner quickly followed with a goal at 5:42 with helpers from Walworth and Stewart. Buller deposited a goal at 9:48 with an assist from defenseman Stewart. Kitagawa quickly followed with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 11:27 with assists from teammates Shuldt and Johnson.

In the second, Stewart answered for the Junior Bruins with a goal at 2:56 with a helper from Akatnov. Stewart answered for the Quake with a goal at 5:43 with an assist from his linemate Doner. Stewart deposited a goal at 14:11 with a helper from defenseman Rasmussen. Doner put in a goal at 17:11 with assists from Stewart and Sievek.

In the third, Ford netted a goal at 4:48 with helpers from his linemates, Moore and Buller.

This loss brings the Missoula Junior Bruins’ record to (4-5-1-0).
