The Junior Bruins struggled against the Quake 5-2 in home game

Brian Thomas came up big, stopping 31 of 35 shots throughout the game. The Yellowstone Quake took the lead late in the first on a goal from Ian Doner and never looked back.

Ryley Cook had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Parker Todd delivered for his team with 2 assists. Ian Doner chipped in with 2 goals and Jack Harris contributed with 2 assists.

In the first period, Dumont opened the scoring for the Quake with a goal at 9:11 with helpers from Buller and Walworth. Doner quickly followed with a goal at 10:21 with helpers from his linemates, Pelto and Harris. Doner netted what turned out to be the game winning goal at 18:20 with assists from his linemates, Harris and Pelto.

During the second, Cook finally put Missoula on the board with a goal at 11:32 with helpers from Todd and Cunningham. Akatnov scored a goal at 17:56 with assists from teammates Todd and Cook.

In the third period, Kitagawa answered for the Quake with a goal at 2:07 with helpers from Stewart and Ford. Johnson deposited a goal at 19:46.

This loss brings the Missoula Junior Bruins’ record to (7-8-1-0).
