The Junior Bruins recorded a shutout against the Wild 6-0 in home game

Cody Grogan posted a shutout, stopping all 36 of the Missoula Junior Bruins shots throughout the game. The Gillette Wild took the lead early in the first on a goal from Andrew Hanson and never looked back.

Coleman Varty contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Jack Oberg had a busy night with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first period, Hanson opened the scoring for Gillette with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 2:28 with a helper from defenseman Smith. Varty netted a goal at 11:32 with helpers from his teammates Stockert and Scoggins.

During the second, Oberg deposited a goal at 2:35 with assists from his linemates, Stockert and Thompson. Feagins scored a goal at 7:15 with helpers from Mitzel and Peterson.

In the third period, Mitzel netted a goal at 0:40 with assists from his linemates, Oberg and Stockert. Walters put in a goal at 5:02 with helpers from his linemates, Varty and Grogan.

This loss brings the Missoula Junior Bruins’ record to (17-21-2-0).
