The Junior Bruins recorded a shutout against the Americans 5-0 in home game

The Missoula Junior Bruins struggled against the Great Falls Americans allowing Ben Rinckey to score a hat trick as Missoula crushed the Americans 5-0 in a home game at Glacier Ice Rink in Missoula. As well, Drew Scites posted a shutout, stopping all 8 of the Junior Bruins shots throughout the game. The Great Falls Americans took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Ben Rinckey and never looked back.

Weston Goodman contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Brandon Vukasin had a busy night with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first period, Rinckey opened the scoring for the Americans with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 7:51 with a helper from his linemate Juliussen.

In the second, Vukasin netted a goal at 2:45 with a helper from his teammate Goodman.

In the third, Rinckey scored a goal at 3:26 with an assist from Truex. Rinckey deposited a goal at 12:47 with helpers from Juliussen and Simpson. Goodman put in a goal at 15:36 with assists from his linemates, Vukasin and Houlihan.
